Project Spotlight | Cambridge Victorian
With this project, my client was after a refresh for a Victorian living room. As with every Victorian home, the ceilings are high and there are some exquisite features. This room needed new flooring due to the original floorboards being drafty. It was also in need of a new fireplace so we focused on getting those elements right and then revamping the room around those necessities.
Project Spotlight | Suffolk Living Room

My client had a large living room in a new build home in Suffolk and needed help with making it feel warm and cosy – which isn't easy! As I discuss the trend of dark walls in my blog "wonder walls", my client knew they wanted to go with a dark navy on the walls, which I was confident would work well in making the room feel smaller and more inviting.
Project Spotlight | Hills Road Apartment

Project Spotlight | Countryside Living Room
When discussing this project with the clients, they wanted to bring their tired, formal living space up to the standard of the rest of their home. The rest of the home has a modern, countryside feel so they wanted to carry this forward into the living room to keep flow throughout the house. The room is used for formal living and entertaining so it needed to feel comfortable and inviting – the look of the room in the evening was extremely important when developing the scheme.

Going Neutral
When interior designers talk about neutral colours in modern interior design, what do we actually mean? In the context of interior design, neutral literally means “without colour”.
