It usually comes down to the finishing touches and how to style your house to really make it a home and by that I mean – YOUR home. Interior styling can really elevate your house from feeling like it could belong to anyone to truly being your home and a reflection of who you are.

I’m going to take you through some of my go-to styling ideas that will make your house feel refined and timeless. Whether you prefer a cosy farmhouse feel or a modern contemporary, these ideas can be applied anywhere to make your house a home.

Ensuring your furniture layout works for you and how you live will ensure your house starts to feel like a home. Layout and functionality is everything and its okay to think outside of the box and break the traditional conventions of room layouts. The key to any functional room is to have a focal point, as long as you have that, rearrange as much as you like!
